We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The hotel facilities were great, especially the deck overlooking the sea, where we enjoyed the most breathtaking sunsets. The location was perfect - within walking distance to everything in the city and yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. we had a wonderful experience at this hotel.

Initially, the staff was not very welcoming and friendly, but their behavior improved over time.

The value for money at Che Lagarto was amazing, with a good-sized and clean room that had a great view. The location right on the beach was perfect, and the staff, especially Leo at reception and Thais at the bar, were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved with a wider variety, including some cheese, ham, and eggs.

The Che Lagarto Hostel Ilha Grande offered a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for senior travelers like myself. The decoration was tasteful and created a cozy ambiance throughout the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable seating areas in the common areas, where I could unwind and mingle with other guests. The hotel's accessibility was also commendable, with ramps and elevators available for easy navigation.

It would have been even more enjoyable for senior travelers if there were additional facilities or activities specifically catered to our needs. Perhaps some organized leisure activities or quiet spaces for relaxation away from the lively atmosphere that younger guests tend to enjoy.

I stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. The hostel has a vibrant energy and the staff, especially Paulista and Denise, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were comfortable and always kept clean. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close enough to the center for convenience, but far enough for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The parties and the deck overlooking the sea made my experience at Che Lagarto truly special. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The view from Che Lagarto Hostel Ilha Grande was absolutely amazing! Our window faced the ocean and it was so beautiful. The staff at the hostel were also very nice and friendly. I especially appreciated the guy at reception on Wednesday afternoon who was extremely helpful. The hostel had all the facilities you could need and the location was very convenient. The Brazilian lady responsible for cleaning did a fantastic job and the Argentinian front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hostel even had a deck downstairs and a balcony in the room upstairs that overlooked the sea. it was a great experience.

stayed in Vila do Abraao before, but Che Lagarto was even better! Amazing beachfront location, friendly staff, lively atmosphere, and delicious caipirinhas. Highly recommend!
